a qualified Investment Analyst to join us!

Roles and Responsibilities
The role of Investment Analyst will work as part of the Investment Team to provide in-depth analysis on potential investment opportunities and investment transactions, and daily technical support to senior members of the investment team, with the following specific task, but not limited to:

  • Analyze key financial ratios and markets to support the development of financial models, business plan, expansion strategy, and potential investment opportunities, including assess the economic value of potential investment deals;
  • Perform valuation with different comparative methodology analysis, and provide recommendations for the Investment Team to consider;
  • Conduct IDD research, analyze, present and document drafting elements of pitch decks and investment memorandum;
  • Support the presenting and defending of the investment proposals to the investment committees to obtain and execute its approvals;
  • Support the negotiations of investment conditions (i.e., price, shareholders rights, representation in corporate governance) and preparing the legal documentation;
  • Actively supporting the closing of transactions to ensure that the conditions agreed are included in the relevant documents;
  • Identify business prospects with hands-on support in project/deal structuring. In addition, participate in reinforcing a network to facilitate deal sourcing and relationship building with potential clients and other stakeholders;
  • Support the management of investment portfolios and advisory engagements in execution phase and prepare regular notes to the management if needed;
  • Research and analyze market data on transactions and using property data to support assumptions and acquisitions; and
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate degree in Finance, Banking, Business or other related field;
  • Minimum three years of experience working in finance, investment banking or corporate finance or corporate/business advisory;
  • Financial modeling skills is a must;
  • Self-motivated individual with strong quantitative skills and demonstrated analytical ability;
  • Excellent command of English language is mandatory;
  • Fluent in MS Office including Word, Excel, MS PowerPoint; and
  • Regional experience is advantageous
